Fear Me

May 23rd, 2007 by Troy Goodfellow · 6 Comments · Consoles, Me

I now have an Xbox 360. I will soon be gaming regularly on two platforms.

Best part? My wife complained there was only one controller and that I should get another one ASAP.

Always marry a nerd.

Say it isn’t so Troy, once you enter the realm of the dark side there’s no going back, except for Anakin Skywalker of course but that was because he wanted to take off that dam mask.

Although now you can play Catan on the 360, maybe there’s still hope.

I second the Catan recommendation. Also get Worms, if you’re not already sick of it from the billion other versions (this one’s really good, if that helps at all). I haven’t tried C&C 360 yet (although I do have it), but LOTR is decent. Although if you’ve already played that on PC, skip it…it’s the same game.

The 360 is a great platform. Welcome to the dark side. :)

Kewl beans! I picked up a 360 in December based solely on all the good things I was hearing about Gears of War, and for once, the hype turned out to be true.

So what does your initial library consist of?

I need a wireless thingy before I can do anything Live related, but expect me to get Catan ASAP.

Jason: I want to try the PC RTS on the 360 eventually, if only to see how well they work.

Scott: So far my library is MLB 2k7. But apparently it needs to download some sort of update to work, so all I’ve seen is the setup screen.

If you’re an EU character, then you can do it multiple times. Everyone can… It’s sad.

Troy: Are those things as truly ridiculous for RTS games as Starcraft on N64 was?

Troy, welcome to the dark side. Make sure to let us all know your gamertag once you get online!
