  To be fair, they been giving the leaders Historical Beauty Upgrades for a while now.

  The thing that I thought about while watching the leader intros was “I think the languages they are speaking are probably not historically accurate”, while also thinking “gosh, that a stupid thing to think of” (not that the first taught was wrong, but in that it was besides the point).

  I am such a nerd.

  Am I the only one who finds it kind of odd that Napoleon’s special ability is called Ancien Régime?

  It’ll be interesting to see how those abilities affect the game, although I’m afraid that Civ is may be moving further into fantasy-land.

  Catherine the Great should realistically speak French, I think. And I would like to point out that there has been a King of Germany (which was part of but not the same as the HRE) since the 10th century, thank you very much.

  As for the Zulu, can you say paid DLC?
