I’ve never played one of these (being confined to the PC as I am), but they sound pretty interesting.

    Dancing, dancing, dancing machine…

I say, we can dance if we want to. We can leave your friends behind. ‘Cos your friends don’t dance and if they don’t dance, well they’re no friends of mine.

I can’t say I’m a fan of their Three Kingdoms stuff (not really interested in the theme), but I’ll forever be in Koei’s debt for when I had a Sega Genesis and they had PTO out for it. Really impressive wargame for a console.

My first experience with turn-based strategy was RoTK on the NES. I am very excited about this news. Plus MSRP of$19.95. I can’t wait to renew acquaintances. What kind of reviews did the console version receive?

That is sweet! I loved that game back in the day… parts 1,2 and 3.

But, I could never get into it on PS 2. I bought part 10 but couldn’t get into it. It seemed too complex… or maybe I just don’t have the patience anymore for the micromanagement.

    Great news indeed.

I hope they’ll beef up the AI a little, too. It’s always been a weak point.

In part 10, I remember playing as an officer, not as a ruler (I wonder if they’ll keep this option). Some neighboring leader attacked my liege again and again each season. They had the superior army, but thanks to the weak AI they lost every war. Refusing to give up. they kept on attacking in every turn. With no forces to counterattack and break this loop, I got bored and quit.
