Troy: Congratulations, and good luck learning a new trade on the fly.
Since you asked, here’s some suggestions for guests I’d like to hear more of: Chris Remo, Lara Crigger, Michael Abbott, and Brian Reynolds.
For those weeks when there’s not enough time to learn War in the East, how about talking about the wealth of small strategy games that are showing up on Steam, XBLA, PSN, and mobile platforms? Like Panzer General: Allied Assault, Galcon Fusion, or even Advance Wars?
I really enjoyed this podcast. It was nice to hear Troy speak so openly and frankly. It *is* nice to start a new life, sometimes. All the best, and look forward to listening in the future.
Well it seems to me what this really means is that Three Moves Ahead is dead. Its definitely been more than a week and no new podcast.
Troy, come back and do it, there is NO other podcast that covers strategy gaming, and really gaming in general, as well as this one did. You can recuse yourself from games that your PR firm is representing but I’d rather listen to your slightly biased opinion that you disclosed up front than to any other podcast out there.

Wow.
I’m going to miss you, your voice, and your writing in equal measure. Or at least, what portion of those things we’re losing. =)
Congratulations, though! I hope you have spectacular success at Evolve PR.
Looking forward to the first press release for Europa Universalisville.

Good luck Troy. We will miss you terribly. And good luck Rob. We all welcome our new podcast overlord.
Will you be continuing the national character series? I am going to miss your writing, and it would be a tragedy if that didn’t get finished.

Not at all happy about this. :\

Best wishes on your new career. I hope strategy gaming can find a new voice that can continue to shed light on the best genre in games.

Man, I just started listening/reading/readening… Good luck in your new job and having to buy your own games! Hope TMA keeps chuggin’ along.
On another note, have you guys messed with Megamek/Classic Battletech at all? Any thoughts? Give it a try, if not!
Javier-de-Ass // Jan 19, 2011 at 3:41 am
Good luck, Troy.

As for people to come on the show and talk about strategy gaming…
Hell I’ll do it. :D

Nevermind, I see there are more. Still, come back.
