Shack News is running an essay contest in which you have to write about your favorite civilization. I guess it’s part of a promo for the upcoming Civilization: Revolution. (I suppose I could have contests, but I’m lazy and cheap. Nobody gives me stuff to award as prizes, but then I don’t ask either. Because I’m lazy.)

Give a short description of the civilization, who the leader is and their traits, and what is their favored military unit and building. You can see examples from Civilization 4 at CivFanatics and no more than a paragraph or two per element please.

Fictional civilizations are OK, so go ahead and wax poetical about why Minbari kick ass.
