You can read my full Company of Heroes review over at Xtreme-Gamer (aka, Strategy Zone Online: The Next Age).
It’s hard to convey in mere text and images just how good this game is, so do get the demo. It’s one of those necessary reminders that innovation in gaming isn’t about making everything original. I know that I’m often guilty of clamoring for new settings in games as if new settings would automatically make a game entertaining. For every game that comes along and takes advantage of an underdone world to bring new game ideas to the table (like this one or this one) there are many more that squander interesting times and places on tired mechanics or just plain poor design.
Not that I’m going to stop complaining about World War II games. There does come a point where enough is enough. But anything Relic does gets grandfathered in from now on.

It’s not easy to type kick-ass guitar riffs.

Don’t be silly. Just add a paragraph about snowboarding and you’re good to go.
