Anyway, now you have to do that word recognition thing to comment. There are only a few of you doing it, but I hope this extra step doesn’t discourage you.

I wonder why they bother distorting the images, as the spambots can’t read them anyhow.
Yeah, my filter weeded out a lot of SPAM comments today. Eventually I caught on that they were all from the same place and put their URL in the blacklist.

Yeah, I’ll just second that WordPress plug. I personally have Spam Karma 2 installed but I have all but eliminated Comment/Trackback spam.
