When I started the preview, I hadn&#8217;t played GalCiv 2 in a while. I knew they&#8217;d been updating &#8211; Stardock always updates &#8211; and when the expansion is full of subtle changes, it can be hard to distinguish the <em>Dark Avatar<\/em> stuff from your run-of-the-mill fix. The tech tree, for example, was not well organized in the original game, but has been altered a few times since. And now again. So, off to the patch notes and press pack I go to suss out what exactly I should be paying attention to.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the expansion is still being fine tuned and probably will continue to be fine tuned until the release next month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My preview is up at Games Radar.
