I'm just hedging my way into multiplayer (unfortunately there are not a lot of players online), and am positively gleeful about how surprising it can be. There is so much variety in the tactics that can be adopted. And people positively study this game - more so than any other strategy game I've played. I have notes aplenty myself, and several successful players have told me that they've achieved their skills only by dedicated replay-watching. It's a head-banger of a game, but in the best way. (but yes, the single-player campaign is terrible. The heroes were the only thing which kept me playing, but I've not picked up on the Alin section for months) Oh, do by all means play RoL; it deserves to be played. Hopefully it won't go the way of Jane's Longbow, which I bought but never REALLY played, which was a pity. I doubt that anyone is really happy with the campaign as it turned out. Does your pack come with the Rise of Nations expansion, too?
